MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Weiler’s Convenience Store is partnering with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin to host a community blood drive ahead of the Independence Day holiday weekend.
The event, scheduled for Friday, July 3, from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will take place at the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin, 508 N. Central Ave.
The campaign, themed “Roll Up Your Sleeve & Celebrate Independence by Saving Lives,” encourages residents to mark the holiday by giving back in a direct and meaningful way. Weiler’s is helping support the effort by offering donors a thank-you gift after they give blood.
As part of the promotion, donors will receive their choice of either a Weiler’s car wash certificate or an in-store Weiler’s certificate, while supplies last.
Weiler’s involvement adds a local business presence to the blood drive and helps encourage more community members to participate. By partnering with Versiti, Weiler’s is using its connection with local customers to help raise awareness about the ongoing need for blood donations.
According to the event materials, every blood donation can help save up to three lives.
The blood drive is part of a broader effort to inspire residents to start the holiday weekend by making a difference in their community.
