Port Edwards Girls Defeat Pittsville

Port Edwards (OnFocus) – Port Edwards defeated Pittsville in CWC action, 42-38.

The Blackhawks led for most of the first half, and took a 17-14 into halftime.

Pittsville was able to tie the game at 26 halfway through the second half, but Port was able to pull away and get the win.

Port’s Taylor Martin led all scorers with 19 points.

Melissa Giles had 12 points to lead Pittsville and Julia Redmond added 10 points.

Kara Rzepka led Port Edwards with 8 rebounds, with Bella Hanten and Taylor Martin each grabbling 7 rebounds.
