Oostburg and Wisconsin Dells will meet in the Division 3 State Championship Game, setting up a battle of the unbeatens.
Oostburg overcame Mosinee 63-50.
Mosinee displayed a strong offensive strategy. Leading the charge was Addy Henrich, who put up an impressive 17 points, hitting 37.5% of her shots (6-of-16) and making 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. Pacyn Stoffel contributed 13 points along with 12 rebounds. Paetyn Jirschele added valuable support with 11 points and 7 rebounds.
Oostburg was led by Riley Ketterhagen, leading her team with 18 points, including five three-pointers. Ady Ketterhagen provided solid support with 9 rebounds and crucial free throws, going 8-of-9 from the line.
The game featured an intense back-and-forth early on, with 9 lead changes and 4 ties highlighting the competitiveness of both teams. However, a pivotal scoring run by Oostburg in the second quarter propelled them to a commanding 41-30 lead heading into halftime.
Defensively, Oostburg was able to capitalize on Mosinee’s turnovers, forcing them into 19 mistakes while only committing 5 themselves.
Wisconsin Dells emerged victorious over Kettle Moraine Lutheran, 77-71.
Wisconsin Dells was led by Natalie Backhaus with 23 points on an impressive 81.8% shooting (9-of-11). She also contributed with 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Jaz Alwin followed closely with 20 points, shooting 63.6% (7-of-11) from the field, and adding vital rebounds and assists that helped propel her team to victory.
Mya Mayer led Kettle Moraine Lutheran, scoring 17 points and securing 7 rebounds. Brooklyn Luehring contributed 20 points.
