Donald A. Pyke, 76, Arpin, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Marshfield with Rev. Tod Vertz officiating. Burial will follow at Arpin Cemetery, Arpin.

Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield and from 10:00 am until the time of service at church.

Don was born on September 28, 1949 in Milwaukee to Charles and Alice (Cline) Pyke. He was united in marriage to Annette Esser on October 16, 1971 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Arpin.

Don enjoyed working on classic cars, making maple syrup, boating, scuba diving, and spending time in Door County. Whether he was building, repairing, or inventing something with wood, metal, or motors, Don always seemed to be working on something. He was a true jack-of-all-trades. A self-taught musician, he found great joy in playing and listening to music. Don was a man of strong faith, often engaging in meaningful conversations around the campfire. Above all, he cherished his role as dad and grandpa and treasured every moment spent with his family. Don had a magnetic personality that naturally drew family and friends to him, and they knew they could always count on having a good time when he was around.

He is survived by his wife, Annette, daughters, Angelia (Gerald) David and Stephanie (Michael) Henning, grandchildren, Kaleb (Leah) David, Carson (Layla) David, Kiana David (fiancé – Evan Ellis), Ava Henning, Emmitt Henning, Maverick Henning, and Micah Henning, and great grandchildren, Daxton and Desmond David.

He is further survived by his mother, Alice, sisters, Sharon (Don) Brehm and Barbara (Zac) Bushmaker, and many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Pastor Vertz from Salem Ev Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Bay for his numerous visits and comforting words.
