College Basketball John Wooden Award Update: Midseason Top 25

The Midseason Top 25 list is out from the Los Angeles Athletic Club for its top candidates for the John Wooden Award. The award recognizes the nation’s top college basketball player.

SPASH grad Sam Hauser, formerly of Marquette and a senior at the University of Virginia, is named on the Top 25 list.

The midseason list includes  players from Big Ten schools:

  • Marcus Carr, Minnesota
  • Kofi Cockburn, Illinois
  • Ayo Dosunmo, Illinois
  • Luka Garza, Iowa
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana
