Bus Driver Charged in Green Bay Crash Injuring Dozens

GREEN BAY, WI (OnFocus) – A Prospect Heights, Illinois, man driving a tour-style bus to a Michigan casino has been charged following a crash that injured dozens of passengers.

The incident occurred on March 22, 2026, just before 2:45 p.m. off North Webster Avenue near I-43. Initially, 33 of the 54 passengers were reported to be injured, but that number has risen to 41.

The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged Ghebry Figueroa, 37, on March 24, 2026:

  • Knowingly Operate Motor Vehicle while Revoked
    • Cause Great Bodily Harm to Another
  • Knowingly Operate Motor Vehicle while Revoked
    • Cause Great Bodily Harm to Another
  • Operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle while Disqualified

Figueroa was arrested by Green Bay Police on the evening of the crash, which remains under investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol.
