CENTRAL WISCONSIN — Pittsville senior Dawson Luther headlined the Central Wisconsin contingent on the 2026 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State teams, earning Division 4 Player of the Year honors and a first-team outfield selection after one of the most decorated individual seasons in the region. Luther posted a .585 batting average to lead all on-field honorees from the coverage area.

In all, six schools from the Sports OnFocus coverage area earned representation on the statewide ballot, with players earning recognition across the on-field all-state teams, honorable mention, and the WBCA Academic All-State list.

Luther’s first-team selection placed him among the elite outfielders statewide regardless of division, and his D4 Player of the Year honor caps a senior season that also included a first-team All-District nod in the North Central District. He batted .585 on the season — the highest average among all coverage area all-state honorees.

Marathon’s True Thurs earned honorable mention recognition as a pitcher after going 9–1 with a 1.66 ERA, numbers that also earned him a first-team All-District selection in the North Central District and a unanimous first-team Marawood South Conference honor. Stratford’s Drew Gage picked up his honorable mention in the DH/Utility slot, posting a .412 average and a 12–1 pitching record with a 1.67 ERA — a fitting punctuation mark to a season that included the Marawood South Baseball Player of the Year award.

Marshfield Columbus Catholic senior MacArthur Konieczny earned honorable mention catcher recognition after hitting .411. Konieczny also appeared on the North Central District first team at catcher.
