Landowners Asked to Check Property

CURTISS, WI (OnFocus) – On June 30, 2021 at approximately 11:01 am, the Clark County Sheriff Office dispatch center received a call for Clark County Deputies to respond to Curtiss, WI for report of a missing small aircraft and pilot.

UPDATE HERE

Reporting party indicated the pilot left Curtiss, WI around 4:30am on June 30, 2021 traveling to New Richmond, WI area – however, the aircraft and pilot never arrived in New Richmond.

The aircraft has stainless wings and a white fuselage. It is reported that the aircraft has a parachute in the event of an emergency that would assist in the landing of the aircraft.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is asking land owners to check their property for the missing aircraft and pilot. Areas of interest are areas between Curtiss, WI to Marshfield WI, and Curtiss, WI to New Richmond, WI.

Agencies assisting the Clark County Sheriff’s Office are Wisconsin State Patrol, Clark County Emergency Management, Wisconsin Emergency Management, and Civil Air Patrol. No names or additional information is being released at this time.
