MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Dust off your clubs and gather your team for a day of golf, fun, and philanthropy at the seventh annual Putts Fore Pets Golf Scramble! Join us on Friday, June 14, at the beautiful Marshfield Country Club, located at 11426 Wren Rd, Marshfield, for a fun day in support of Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS).
With a registration fee of just $380 per 4-person team, participants will enjoy 18 scenic holes of golf with a cart, a delicious lunch, exciting raffles, and the chance to win fantastic prizes. The day kicks off with check-in at 9:00 AM and a shotgun start at 10:00 AM, rain or shine.
New This Year: Hole-in-One Challenge
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a high-stakes Hole-in-One opportunity! Golfers will have the chance to win a $15,000 home remodel voucher, generously provided by Ridge Top Exteriors, 1031 8th St S, Wisconsin Rapids. Don’t miss your shot at this incredible prize!
“We always have a great time at this event. Many participants look forward to a round of golf with friends and coworkers while raising money to help animals,” said Karen Rau, MAPS Executive Director. “It’s a wonderful way to support a great cause and have fun at the same time.”
Funds raised from this event directly support the daily operations of MAPS, which cares for approximately 750 animals each year at our facility located at 3500 Downwind Drive, Marshfield. With fundraisers and donations making up about 80% of our $300,000 annual budget, community support is crucial.
MAPS receives no state or federal funding, relying entirely on the generosity of our supporters to reunite homeless animals with their owners or find them new forever homes.
