As we head into Week 7 of the WIAA Football Season it is time to take a look at the Football Playoff situation with three weeks left in the season. We will break these down conference by conference.

Edgar (5-1, 3-1 Marawood) Edgar is playoff eligible but can secure a playoff spot with one more win, their upcoming games include Pittsville, Auburndale, and Marathon.
Work to do
Marathon (3-3, 2-2 Marawood) Everyone in the Marawood has a reasonable path to the playoffs, we will start with Marathon who is one win away from being playoff eligible. Barring a major upset they would need a win against Pittsville in Week 8 to become eligible. To secure a spot, they would have to upset either Colby or Edgar.
Abbotsford (4-2, 2-2 Marawood) Same as Marathon, Abbotsford could become playoff eligible with a win over Pittsville, this time in Week 9, and would need an upset against either Auburndale this week, or next week in Colby to secure a playoff spot.
Pittsville (1-5, 1-3 Marawood) Pittsville may be the best 1-win team in the state, and they still have a path to the playoffs, they have a tough game in Edgar this week but can become playoff eligible with wins at home against Marathon and Abbotsford over the final two weeks of the season.
