Westfield outscored Nekoosa by 19 points in the second half to claim a 59-31 South Central win over Nekoosa.

The relentless press proved to be the difference maker for Westfield in the second half, Nekoosa Head Coach Scott Linzmeier shared.

“We were able to get their lead down to 7 at the 13 minute mark but their press just proved to be too much for us,” Linzmeier said.

Nekoosa was led by Madison Bills with 10 points.

“We were playing well coming into this game and I thought we could give them a run for their money but in the end their press proved to be too much for us,” Linzmeier added.
