Pittsville Holds off Bowler in Extra Innings

Bowler (OnFocus) – Pittsville took a one run lead in the top of the 8th inning in its matchup with Bowler, and then held on in the bottom of the inning to escape with a 3-2 win. With two outs and  the bases loaded, Noah Calverly struck out the final batter to end the game in dramatic fashion.

Noah Grimm pitched 6.1 innings for Pittsville, striking out 6 batters. Calvery came on in relief to close the game for the Panthers.

Cody Fox was 3X3 and a pair of RBI. Evan Haley went 2X4 and picked up the other RBI.
