Obituary for Phyllis Premeau

Phyllis M. Premeau, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Three Oaks Health Services, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 31 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where a gathering for family and friends will be from 10:00 am until service time. Deacon Ray Draeger will officiate. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Marshfield.

Phyllis was born on September 7, 1938 in Belvedere, IL, to Glen and Bernita (Boettcher) Rucker. She was united in marriage to Arnold J. Premeau on December 8, 1956 in Appleton, WI. He died on April 26, 2018.

Before her marriage, Phyllis was employed at Roddis Plywood. After her marriage she raised her family and later she was seasonally employed at Figi’s in Marshfield.

Phyllis enjoyed working in her flower beds, lawn work and watching and feeding the birds. She also enjoyed crocheting, camping, campfires, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lori (Norm) Babcock, Deb (Al) Deiler, and Nona (Ron) Zepplin, all of Marshfield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Fairbert, Stephanie Fairbert, Troy Deiler (Nicky), Jaime (Anthony) Reigel, Abby (Nate) Thurber, Amber Schultz and Jesse (Megan) Zepplin and great grandchildren, Ryker, Emersyn, Alice, Dereck, Haily, Karisa, Jordyn, Coldyn, Lily, Allie, Jaxon and Margaux. She is further survived by siblings, Dennis Rucker, Ross (Gail) Rucker, all of Pittsville, Linda (Norm) Snortheim of Marshfield, and Glenda (Bob) Fellenz of Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Joyce Ann in infancy and brothers, Thomas Rucker and Glenn Rucker, Jr.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Josh at Heartland Hospice and to Phyllis’ sister, Glenda for her loving care and support through the years.
