A celebration of life for Pat will held at 11 am on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, with Chaplin Dennis Fahey officiating. The service will be streamed online at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9 am until service time.

Born on November 6, 1933, in Milwaukee, WI, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Earl Cleaveland and Catherine (Felon) Cleaveland. She embarked on her educational journey across various grade schools throughout the USA, culminating in her graduation from Rice Lake High School in 1951. Patricia’s thirst for knowledge led her to Northland College in Ashland, WI, where fate introduced her to her beloved husband, Clarence. She furthered her education at Alverno College, Milwaukee, earning a BA degree in Art & Music before obtaining her master’s degree in fine arts from UW Milwaukee.

On June 3, 1967, Patricia exchanged vows with Clarence Topp, a dental student at Marquette Dental School. Together, they planted their roots in Marshfield in May of 1969, establishing a home where they thrived for the rest of their lives. From Patricia’s previous marriage, she was blessed with two children, Debora and Dennis.

A woman of diverse talents, Patricia epitomized the essence of a Renaissance spirit. An accomplished artist, musician, culinary enthusiast, bowler, curler, and croquet player, she embraced life’s myriad passions with gusto. Patricia’s green thumb and artistic flair flourished in her beloved garden, where she meticulously arranged the blooms she cultivated. Her love for the outdoors extended to curling, a sport that carried her to championships across Europe and Canada. She found solace and tranquility in the Blue Hills northeast of Rice Lake, where she desired her ashes to rest alongside her son Dennis, amid the serene wilderness they both cherished.

As a successful artist, Patricia’s creativity knew no bounds, evident in the myriad masterpieces she crafted throughout her illustrious career. Survived by her devoted husband Clarence, daughter Deb, and a circle of cherished friends, Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration. She is also fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Vicky Topp, along with nieces and nephews who admired her deeply.

Patricia’s journey was enriched by the compassionate care provided by the staff at Stoney River Memory Care, for which her family extends heartfelt gratitude.

In lieu of flowers, please send any memorial contributions to the charitable foundation of your choice, spreading kindness and love in memory of Pat’s life well lived.
