Marvin P. Schiller, 68, Pittsville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of service. Rev. Gary Markworth will officiate. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Pittsville. Buchanan/Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Marvin was born on July 12, 1957 in Wisconsin Rapids to Karl and Karleen (Knuth) Schiller. He graduated from Pittsville High School in 1975 and farmed with his father and brother.
He was united in marriage to Jean Zellner on November 4, 1978 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pittsville, recently celebrating their 47th anniversary.
Marvin enjoyed woodworking, tinkering, fishing, riding his 4 wheeler, grilling, spending time with his family, and watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.
After retirement, he drove tractor with his son, Mat.
He is survived by his wife, Jean, children, Rebecca (Carlos) Martinez, Mathew (Angie) Schiller, Paul (Emily) Schiller, and 6 grandchildren, Emmercyn, William, Ryleigh, Jayce, Gracie, and Apollo.
He is further survived by his siblings, Kristine (Ron) Wolf, Barbara (Loren) Scheunemann, Kenneth (Lisa) Schiller, Sandra (Bob) Atkinson, and sister-in-law, Diane Schiller (Steve O’dell), and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Karleen, brother, Jon, and granddaughter, Madilynn.
