Jerry M. Cramer, age 77, of Auburndale, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at his lake cottage with his wife and family by his side.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held at 11 a.m. on June 14, 2024, at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield, with Renata Hinrichs officiating. A Visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Jerry was born in Wayne, Nebraska, on June 12, 1946, to Guy and Edna (Schnoover) Cramer. After high school, Jerry met and married the love of his life, Margaret “Peg” Hermes. The couple moved to Marshfield, where Jerry began a distinguished thirty-eight-year career as a salesman for ROLLOHOME/WICK Building Systems. Throughout his life, Jerry was known for his dedication to his work, his warm personality, and his passion for connecting with people.
Jerry had many hobbies and passions, but his true love was sailing and being on the water.
He found immense joy and peace in sailing, which became a central part of his life and a source of many cherished memories as well as his family and grandkids.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Peg; his children, Steve (Gina) Cramer and Annie (Scott) Snider; and four grandchildren Will (Emily), Brandon, Maddy and Brynn as well as many nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by a sister Lola Goldberg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Edna Cramer as well as his sisters Irene Jeffrey and Betty Korth.
Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
