Ed Feng, the founder of ThePowerRank.com, explains there is one reason for the Chiefs’ success that fans may not be aware of, and it’s quite simple.

Lack of interceptions from their offense.

True, Patrick Mahomes puts stress on defenses unlike any other quarterback ever has. Feng points out, however, that throwing fewer interceptions than average is a characteristic of teams led by Andy Reid. During Reid’s time as the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and now as the Chiefs’ Coach, his teams have consistently thrown fewer interceptions than the league average.

What makes it even more remarkable?

Feng says he can’t find a reason why Andy Reid led teams throw fewer interceptions than the average team.
