TOWNSHIP OF WOOD, WI (OnFocus) – The names of those involved in an early morning crash in Wood County have been released.
Quinton T. Plucinski (14, Marshfield, WI) and Conner K. Ostricki (16, Stratford, WI) died at the scene. Ravinder S. Dhillon (36, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) and Gagandeep S. Sidhu (28, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) were involved in the crash.
On October 9, 2023, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Department responded to the intersection of State Highway 73 and Polish Road in the Township of Wood for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.
The initial investigation showed that a vehicle, driven by Plucinski, was traveling southbound on Polish Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. As a result, the southbound vehicle, driven by Dhillon, was struck by a semi tractor trailer that was traveling eastbound on State Highway 73.

This crash remains under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department and
the Wisconsin State Patrol. Agencies assisting the Wood County Sheriff’s Department were Wood County Dispatch, Pittsville Fire Department, Pittsville Ambulance, and the Wood County Coroners Office.
