OnFocus – According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Cory Moegenburg was found dead this weekend in the Eau Claire River south of the Dells. The cause of his death is under investigation by the Marathon County Medical Examiners Office.
“The Moegenburg family and his girlfriend Jennifer want to thank all the volunteers that helped in the search efforts over the last several days,” they said in a statement.
Moegenburg was last seen the afternoon of Tuesday, January 12th. His vehicle was located in the west unit of the Eau Claire Dells Marathon County Park. Antigo Police Department assisted the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office in the search.
