Medford’s Bats and Rylee Hraby’s Arm Top the Leaderboard at Division 1 Legion Regional

MEDFORD — The Division 1 Legion Softball Regional wrapped up July 21 in Medford, and when the statistical leaderboard settled, host Medford Post 147 Senior Legion Softball had a hand in nearly every category, with Rhinelander Legion Post 7 and Edgar SR Legion supplying the challengers.

Medford’s lineup produced the tournament’s top hitters across the board, while Rylee Hraby turned in one of the more dominant pitching lines the regional has seen, closing with a 0.00 ERA and 28 strikeouts. Rhinelander’s Aliyah Jordan and Edgar’s pitching duo of Kendyl Apfelbeck and Jorja Knetter kept both programs in the conversation across multiple categories.

Batting Average

Aliyah Jordan and Medford’s Tori Nicks shared the tournament’s top batting mark at .667, with Addison Brahmer not far behind to give Medford two of the top three spots.

Finley Arndt drove in a tournament-best eight runs for Medford, with Edgar’s Zoe Christiansen next at six. Medford teammates Rylee Hraby and Zayleah Leonhardt tied for third with five RBIs apiece.
