Marshfield’s Farrah Phillips Selected as USSSA Fastpitch All-American, Headed to 2024 All-American Games

Farrah Phillips #00

Farrah Phillips, daughter of Wayne Phillips and Renee Horswill-Phillips, has been selected as a USSSA Fastpitch Softball All-American and will represent her hometown of Marshfield, WI and the Midwest Region at the Space Coast Complex in Viera, FL this summer at the 2024 All-American Games.

Farrah is entering the 7 th grade at Columbus Catholic Middle School and has been playing travel softball since age 6. Her primary position is pitcher and secondary’s are short stop and center field.

One of the goals she set for herself at age 7 was to play and pitch in the All American Games after watching the event on TV. Through many years of training, lessons, travel softball, leagues and countless hours of practicing she has accomplished her goal! For the past 2 years Farrah has been playing on the Extreme elite travel team out of Oshkosh, WI and she will be attending tournaments for Midwest Nationals in Des Moines, IA, Nationals in Nashville, TN along with others this summer.

Her ultimate goal is to receive a D1 scholarship as a pitcher to Baylor University in Waco, TX. Designation to a USA Softball All-American team is the highest honor a player can receive and instantly brands the player as one of the top athletes in the United States. Only 360 girls Nationwide will have the opportunity to wear the USA Softball Jersey. Farrah Phillips is one of 26 athletes/2 teams chosen to represent the Midwest region in the 12 and under division at the 2024 All-American Games this summer. All-American athletes are selected by performance and scores for their primary positions and batting and ultimately selected by elected All-American committee members and official to receive this prestigious accolade.

The USSSA All American Fastpitch Program consists of six regions in the United States:
West, South, Midwest, Southwest, Northeast and Great Lakes. The 2024 USSSA Fastpitch All American Games will take place on July 29 – August 23, 2024 in Viera, Florida. You can catch every pitch from the All American Games LIVE on USSSALive.com
