With one week left in the season, the playoff picture is coming into focus. We look at the situations of the teams in the Marawood Conference.
Playoff Qualified
Edgar (7-1, 6-0)
Auburndale (8-1, 5-1)
Colby (7-1, 5-1)
Playoff Eligible and can clinch a playoff spot with one more win.
Abbotsford (6-3, 3-3) vs Pittsville
Abbotsford is all but in the playoffs, thanks to a win over playoff-qualified Ladysmith and Melrose-Mindoro (and possibly Loyal). A win over Pittsville will lock down a spot.
Marathon (4-4, 3-3) vs Edgar
Marathon is playoff-eligible and probably stay there with a game against D7 #1 Edgar. A huge upset would lock in a spot.
Work to do
Pittsville (4-4, 2-4) @ Abbotsford
Pittsville needs a win to all but lock in a playoff spot, and to cheer for Cadott, if the Hornets win, it all but locks in a playoff spot for Pittsville if they beat Abbotsford.
