New research has revealed the top-rated NFL stadiums, with Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin taking top place. (Read about local Quality Roofing’s work on Lambeau earlier this year – click here!)
Since its creation in 1929, the NFL has brought many glorious moments to football lovers across America and the world.
From the Super Bowl to classic Sunday Night Football, all 30 NFL stadiums across the US have been the setting for vast amounts of entertainment, but which one do fans love visiting the most?
Online casino and sportsbook operator JeffBet analyzed reviews on Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor to determine the most popular NFL stadiums in America based on the average number of five-star ratings in total for each stadium.

Crowned the most popular NFL stadium in America is Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which received a total average rating of 4.807 across Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor. Home to the Green Bay Packers, the stadium opened in 1957 with a capacity of 81,441. It is the fifth largest stadium in the NFL, but according to ESPN, is best known for its atmosphere, history, and traditions.
In second place, with a total average rating of 4.686 stars, is the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It has a unique retractable roof, which allows the stadium to be both an indoor and outdoor venue. The Colts’ home also hosted the Super Bowl XLVI, attracting fans from all over the US.
Coming in at third is the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, with an average score of 4.682 stars. The home stadium of the Atlantic Falcons holds 71,000 fans and cost around $1.6 billion to build, making it one of the most expensive stadiums in the world. In fact, it is set to host matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, places fourth with an overall average score of 4.681. More commonly known as Heinz Field, the stadium opened in 2001 with a capacity of 59,000. Currently, the Pittsburgh Steelers are worth around $4.265 billion.
In fifth place is AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with an overall star rating of 4.678. The stadium received the most reviews out of the other 29 stadiums, with a staggering 42,325 reviews across all three sites. The Dallas Cowboys are not short of supporters with its huge seating capacity of over 80,000 people, one of the largest in the US. The stadium is home to the most giant HDTV in the world, known as the “Jerrytron”, measuring an impressive 160 ft wide.
Coming in at sixth is Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, which has an overall average rating of 4.677 stars. Arrowhead Stadium, accommodating over 76,000 seats, is known for its loud and excitable fans, which set a Guinness World Record for the loudest stadium in 2014, reaching 142.2 decibels.
Seventh is the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota with an average overall score of 4.65 stars. The stadium opened in 2016 and is the home of the Minnesota Vikings; it holds a capacity of 65,000 people, which can expand to 73,000 for a Super Bowl.
In eighth place is the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, with an overall average rating of 4.674. The stadium was built in 1998, replacing the Baltimore Ravens’ previous home Memorial Stadium, to accommodate their growing fan base. Like other stadiums, M&T Bank Stadium is also going green and implemented a solar panel system in 2011, which provides 25% of the stadium’s electricity.
Coming in at ninth is the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, with an average rating of 4.644 stars. The stadium can facilitate up to 65,000 for football games and up to 72,000 for other events.
In tenth place is the Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, which received an average rating of 4.584 stars. The Broncos’ stadium hosts about 300 events a year and is home to the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Museum, which is free of charge to visit.
On the other end of the scale, FedExField in Landover, Maryland, received the lowest overall rating of 3.891.
A spokesperson from JeffBet said: “With the 2023-2024 NFL season in full swing, it is interesting to see why some stadiums are more popular than others based on reviews from Google, Yelp, and TripAdvisor.”
“After analyzing all the reviews, it is apparent they all have such unique characteristics that make each individual one special. It really goes to show that no matter the size, cost, or how modern a stadium is, it doesn’t necessarily make it the most popular”.
