W Game 2 — Marshfield 10, Rangers Post 9 0 (6 inn.) — 7:00 PM

Mac Konieczny came back out for the nightcap and was even better. He threw six complete innings — a shutout — allowing just two hits and walking two while striking out six on 81 pitches. Rangers Post 9 went scoreless in every inning and managed only a Parker Marzofka double and a Camden Martin single all night. It was the kind of performance that doesn’t require much offensive support, though the Blue Devils provided plenty anyway.

Marshfield scored four in the first and never looked back, pushing runs across in five of six innings. Jakob Sadowska was all over the base paths, going 1-for-4 with two runs scored and three stolen bases. Dayton Bugar went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs, an RBI, a walk, and a sacrifice fly. Nathan Richardson flipped to DH and went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Bryce Schade and Kash Ostermann each drove in a run, and Owen Griesbach, Chase Robinson, and Mason Anderson all contributed RBI as the Blue Devils ran 13 hits through the lineup.
