Athens (OnFocus) – The Athens Blue Jays led by 10 at the half and pulled away after the break for an 80-55 win over Marawood foe Abbotsford.
Cooper Diedrich had 23 points to lead Athens. All five Blue Jays starers scored in double figures, with Cobie Ellenbecker scoring 17, Aiden Janke and Kody Lepak scoring 14, and Dayne Diethelm adding 12 points.
Hunter Soyk led the Falcons with 14 points. Cade Faber and Mason Carpenter each had 11 points. Faber led the Falcons with 11 rebounds.
