Aspirus Riverview Foundation Names Evenson as Executive Director

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Aspirus Riverview Foundation has named Sherry Evenson to be its new Executive Director. Evenson joined the Foundation’s board of directors in December 2019 and has served as the board’s chairperson since February 2020.

Established in 1984, Aspirus Riverview Foundation enhances the health and wellness of the communities served by Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. Through donations and fundraising, the Foundation provides grants to support health-related initiatives.

“The board of directors believes Sherry is the ideal Executive Director to lead the Aspirus Riverview Foundation’s next chapter of achievement,” said Nancy Roth-Mallek, officer of the board. “We believe in her ability to prepare strategies and develop ideas that will both cope with changing environments and consider the various challenges that lie ahead. She is an inspirational leader, and we are excited to welcome her.”

A native of Wisconsin Rapids, Evenson is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional and holds bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Lakeland College, a graduate certificate in Healthcare Management from UW-Oshkosh, and a masters of business administration degree from Lakeland College. She joined Aspirus Riverview Hospital in April 2003 and most recently served as Aspirus’ System Director of Financial Clearance.
