Submitted to OnFocus – Staff from Aspirus Cancer Care – Wisconsin Rapids recently accepted a $1000 donation to Aspirus Riverview Foundation’s Cancer Patient Fund. The donation will be used to help the cancer center’s Adams County patients who struggle with the cost of transportation to their appointments.
Colleen Livernash, owner of Bighorn Bar & Grill in Arkdale, presented the check on behalf of her business and its patrons. Livernash said she became aware of the specific need the donation will address while working in the cancer center, where she was a medical assistant for nearly 20 years before retiring in 2020.
