Columbus was led at the plate by Akosua Yeobah, who went 2-3 with a double, an RBI, and 3 runs scored. Ashley Weiler went 1-1 with a walk, a double, and 2 RBI. Wojick went 2-2 with a walk, 2 RBI, and 3 runs scored.
For Colby/Abby, Ella Schreiber went the first inning, giving up 14 runs, 2 earned, on 5 hits, 6 walks. Neveah Treankler went the final inning, giving up 4 runs, 3 earned, on 2 hits, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout.
Columbus Catholic next hosts Regis Catholic on Monday. Colby/Abby next heads to Athens on Tuesday.
