Wittenberg-Birnamwood Golfers Battle at Amherst Invite

Comments:

Again, we didn’t play well, but  some of that can be attributed to the extremely difficult conditions (wind, rain, cold temperature, and a difficult course). With that said, every team played in the same conditions and we were only able to beat half of them. Amherst has really set the bar as the team to beat in the conference. They are a solid team from top to bottom. it is still early in the season and i am confident we will improve, the question is by how much? I was again extremely happy with the performance of George (Seegmiler). He is proving to be not only one of the best players in our conference, but an overall exceptional player. He managed the tough conditions and was able to tie for second overall in the field.
