VESPER, WI (OnFocus) – The Village of Vesper will host a special Tree Planting Day on Monday, May 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Vesper Recreation Center. A total of 36 trees will be planted in public spaces throughout the village, including local parks, as part of a broader effort to enhance the environment, provide shade, and beautify community areas.
The event will bring together volunteers from across the community, including local nonprofits, businesses, and civic groups. Area students will also take part in the initiative, using the opportunity as a hands-on learning experience in environmental responsibility and civic engagement.
This collaborative effort reflects the Village’s commitment to sustainability and community pride, while also creating lasting benefits for residents and visitors alike.
The tree planting is made possible through a grant program in partnership with Trees Forever and aims to leave a lasting impact on the local landscape.
