MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Street Division will begin concrete repair work on South Oak Avenue between West 6th Street and West 7th Street starting Wednesday, June 11. (Map Here)
During this time, the section of S. Oak Ave. will be closed to through traffic, and a signed detour will be in place to help drivers navigate around the construction zone. This closure is expected to remain in effect through June 17, weather permitting.
What to Expect:
- Road Closure: S. Oak Ave. between W. 6th St. and W. 7th St.
- Detour: Signage will guide motorists around the closure.
- Duration: June 11–17 (subject to change based on weather conditions)
Following the reopening of S. Oak Ave., additional concrete repair work will begin at W. Arlington Street, just west of S. Oak Ave. This will involve a lane shift and partial closure to complete the project.
