MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Clinic Health System will conduct a scheduled emergency preparedness drill on Thursday, January 15, at its Marshfield campus.
During the exercise, community members may notice a large emergency response presence in the area. The drill is an active shooter training involving Marshfield Clinic, the Marshfield Police Department, and the Marshfield Fire Department.
Clinic officials emphasize that this is only a training exercise. There is no active threat to the public, and residents are asked not to call 911.
The drill is part of ongoing efforts to ensure staff and first responders are prepared to respond effectively to emergency situations, with a focus on coordination, safety, and rapid response.
Community cooperation is appreciated as participants complete this important preparedness training.
