New study reveals the most popular US TikTok creators of 2024
- Charli D’Amelio ranks first with the most followers and likes.
- Addison Rae is second, with the highest average like count per video.
- Bella Poarch comes in third.
A new study reveals that Charlie D’Amelio was TikTok’s top creator of 2024.
The study, conducted by influencer marketing agency Socially Powerful, analyzed data from TikTok and SocialBlade across seven key metrics, including follower count, likes count, and engagement rates, to calculate an index score out of 100.

Charli D’Amelio secures first place with an impressive score of 89.44. This is a result of 155.7 million followers, 11.7 billion likes, and an average like count of over 4.2 million per video, Charli continues to dominate the platform. Her engagement rate of 18.44% solidifies her position as the leading US-based TikTok star, making her a favorite among fans and brands alike.
Coming in second is Addison Rae, scoring 88.46. Addison boasts 88.7 million followers and an average of 16.3 million likes per video. Known for her dance and lifestyle content, she remains a key figure in TikTok’s entertainment landscape.
Bella Poarch claims the third spot with a score of 79.54. With 94.5 million followers and a unique blend of lip-sync and gaming content, Bella’s 2.4 billion likes and average engagement rate of 3.32% showcase her wide appeal.
In fourth place is Dixie D’Amelio, scoring 77.89. Dixie, with her 55.5 million followers and over 3.3 billion likes, continues to captivate audiences through music and relatable content. Her engagement rate of 6.77% further highlights her connection with fans.
Avani Gregg rounds out the top five with a score of 71.57. Avani’s 41.9 million followers and 3.1 billion likes, combined with her high engagement rate of 2.52%, demonstrate her influence within the TikTok community.

Methodology:

A total of 7 factors were used to compile the index (see below).

The raw data for each factor was cleaned, checked, and standardized on the same scale from 0 to 10, where 0 and 10 represent the worst and best values present in the data, to allow for accurate comparison between factors. Factors for which a high score would be negative were subtracted from 10 to invert their scoring.

A weighting was then assigned to each factor reflecting its importance within the analysis.

Number of followers per video (weight: 10.0%)

Once the weightings were assigned, the total score for the factors was calculated, producing an overall index score out of 100 for each entry, upon which the final ranking is based.
