The Stratford Tiger Baseball team got a shutout win to open WIAA tournament play, downing Colfax 8-0.
Drew Gage and Christian Rehm combined on the shutout. Gage pitched the first 4 innings, giving up just 2 hits and striking out 9. Rehm would go the final 3 innings, giving up just a walk, striking out 6.
The Tigers would steal 7 bases in the game, 2 from Jack Remus, and 1 each from Brady Berg, Jaegar Ormond, Jack Tubbs, Matt Schoenfuss, and Vance Kielman.
Rehm, Kielman, and Schoenfus would each collect multiple hits.
The Tigers next host Stanley-Boyd on Tuesday in a Regional Semifinal.
