Stocking Fillers: Highest-rated celebrity perfumes REVEALED
- Celine Dion’s Signature is the highest-rated celebrity fragrance, with an aggregate rating of 4.27 out of 5.
- Rihanna’s Kiss and David Beckham’s Homme rank second and third, respectively.
- Other celebrities with highly rated fragrances include Naomi Campbell, Ariana Grande, and Jennifer Lopez.
A new study has revealed the most well-liked celebrity fragrances, with Celine Dion’s Signature taking the top spot.
Research conducted by JeffBet aggregated review data for celebrity-branded perfumes from popular perfume review sites, Fragrantica and Parfumo, to find the most highly rated celebrity fragrances.
The data revealed that Celine Dion’s Signature is the most well-liked celebrity fragrance. Rated 4.3 stars out of 5 across 5,878 Parfumo reviews, and 3.61 out of 5 across 227 Fragrantica reviews, the perfume has an aggregate score of 4.27 out of 5.
Rihanna’s Kiss ranks second, with an aggregate score of 4.26 out of 5. Kiss has an average score of 4.45 out of 5 across 817 ratings on Parfumo and 3.78 out of 5 across 326 Fragrantica reviews.
In third place, with an aggregate score of 4.25 out of 5, is David Beckham’s Homme. The fragrance was rated 3.9 on Fragrantica across 814 reviews and 4.3 on Parfumo across 5,898 reviews.
Naomi Campbell follows in fourth place with Private, which has an aggregate score of 4.24 out of 5. Privateis rated 3.91 on Fragrantica by 190 people and 4.25 on Parfumo across 4,885 reviewers.
Anja Rubik’s Original is fifth, scoring 4.20 out of 5. The scent’s Fragrantica score is 3.74, and its Parfumo score is 4.25.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s One ranks sixth with an aggregate score of 4.19. Kat Von D’s Saint is tied in sixth place, also with an aggregate score of 4.19.
Ariana Grande’s Mod Vanilla ranks seventh with a score of 4.17. Cloud Intense, also by Ariana Grande, ranks eighth, scoring 4.15 out of 5.
Jennifer Lopez’s One is in ninth place with an aggregate score of 4.14, and Britney Spears’ In Control Curious rounds out the top 10 with a score of 4.13.

“Celebrities who have acquired large followings often launch their own fragrances as a way of developing their personal brand and creating an additional revenue stream.
“Celebrity endorsement can often result in fragrances being perceived as higher quality and can be particularly appealing to consumers who want to feel more connected to their idols.
“Online ratings are often an anonymous way to show fans’ true feelings about the fragrance, unrelated to the celebrity whose name is attached.”

Methodology:
The study uses review data from Fragrantica.com and Parfumo.com to determine which celebrity fragrances are most highly rated. Using the celebrity page on fragrantica.com, a seed list of celebrities who have a perfume brand was created. A list of all perfumes each celebrity has was then created. For each celebrity perfume, the rating and review counts on both fragrantica.com and parfumo.com were collected via a scraper.
The Parfumo ratings, which are scored out of 10 on the website were normalised to be scored out of 5 like the Fragrantica rating. Both figures were then aggregated to calculate a combined rating. Celebrity fragrances with fewer than 50 reviews on either platform were excluded from the study.
