Spencer Boys Track and Field’s Breckin Miller Voted OnFocus Athlete of the Week, April 20 – April 26
Voters turned in big fashion to support the area’s top athletic performances last week. When the dust settled, it was Spencer Boys Track and Field’s Breckin Miller taking top honors, earning the title of OnFocus Athlete of the Week, April 20 – April 26, picking up 554 votes.
Edgar Softball’s Maycie Yonker took second place with 525 votes.
Carter Cihlar of Abbotsford Boys Track and Field earned third place with 341 votes. Pacelli Softball’s Peyton Mancl finished in fourth place with 126 votes.
OnFocus Athlete of the Week, April 20 – April 26
- Addi Peskie, Stevens Point Softball – Peskie was 4X4 with a pair of home runs and 5 RBI to lead the Panthers to a 16-6 win over DePere.
- Carter Cihlar, Abbotsford Boys Track and Field – Cihlar broke the Abbotsford School record in the pole vault, clearing 13 feet.
- Peyton Mancl, Pacelli Softball – The senior hurler struck out 17 as Pacelli downed Poynette 3-1 in nonconference softball.
- Breckin Miller, Spencer Boys Track and Field – Miller picked up three titles for the Rockets at the Neillsville Track and Field Invite: pole vault, long jump and 110 meter hurdles.
- Maycie Yonker, Edgar Softball (nominated online)- Yonker had three hits, including a triple and homerun, scoring three runs, as Edgar blasted Pittsville 14-1 in nonconference softball.
