Rehm’s 1 Hitter leads Stratford Baseball Past Assumption

Christian Rehm’s one-hit shutout was more than enough as the Stratford Tiger Baseball Team blew out Assumption 10-0 in 6 innings.

Rehm went the full 6 innings, giving up just the one hit, 3 walks, and striking out 12.

The offense was led by Riley Spindler, who went 2-3, with a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Jack Tubbs went 1-2 with a double, a walk, was hit by a pitch, a stolen base, 2 RBI, and a run scored. Drew Gage went 1-3 with a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored.

Camden Martin got the start for Assumption, going 5 innings, giving up 6 runs, 4 earned, on 4 hits, 5 walks, and 4 strikeouts. JJ Oswald went the final third of an inning, giving up 4 runs, 3 earned, on 4 hits, 1 walk.

Stratford and Assumption face off again on Thursday in Wisconsin Rapids.
