The Prentice Buccaneers scored 3 in the top of the 7th, and held on to get a 6-5 win over Abby/Colby in Marawood North Baseball.
Prentice was led at the plate by Heston Hueckman, who went 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Adam Raab would go 2-3 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored.
Jonas Staroba would get the start, going 3 innings, giving up 2 earned runs, on 4 hits, 2 walks, and 4 strikeouts. Hardy Hueckman went the final 4 innings, giving up 3 runs, 1 earned, on 5 hits, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts.
Peyton Schrieber led Abby/Colby, going 2-3 with a walk, 3 RBI, and a run scored. Christian Fuentes went 2-3 with 2 runs scored.
Arturo Lopez got the start, going 4.2 innings, giving up 3 runs, 2 earned on 4 hits, 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. Schrieber would go the next 2 innings, giving up 3 unearned runs, on 3 hits and 4 strikeouts. Grayson Totzke got the final out, giving up 1 hit.
Prentice heads to Phillips on Friday, and Abby/Colby heads to Rib Lake.
