The Pittsville Panthers Baseball Team put on an offensive clinic on Friday with a 25-2 win over Abbotsford/Colby.
Dawson Luther 2 led the Panthers at the plate, going 2-3 with a triple, 3 walks, 2 runs scored, and 5 RBI. Logan Zickert went 2-4, with a walk, a stolen base, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI. Every Panther that came to the plate had at least 1 RBI.
Zickert got the start, went 2 innings, gave up 1 hit, and struck out 4. Luther went the next inning, giving up nothing on a strikeout. Brody Withers went the final 2 innings, giving up 2 runs, 1 earned, on 4 hits, and 2 strikeouts.
Abby/Colby was led by Peyton Schreiber at the plate, going 2-3 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI.
Pittsville next hosts Port Edwards on Tuesday. Abby/Colby next heads to Mosinee next Thursday for a WIAA Division 2 Regional Quarterfinal.
