Shirley was born during the Great Depression on June 25, 1935 to Theodore and Elsie Huth. She attended St. Joseph’s School in Hewitt, WI.
She was a great helper spending countless hours tearing cloth to make rugs, removing fallen apples to keep the lawn clear as well as harvesting raspberries and other items from their garden. She enjoyed listening to the scanner and being in the know of what was going on in the area. She had a memory like a steel trap. She had a special touch for holding babies while she rocked & sang to them. She also enjoyed playing bingo, doing word searches, playing cards and getting her nails done. After her mother passed away, she was able to live with each of her siblings for a time until she found her forever home at North Shore Healthcare in Marshfield. She loved living there and would often ask if she could live there forever so we knew it was a great place for her to be. Our family is extremely grateful for the wonderful care they provided for her.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Dennis Bushman and her nieces/nephews-Jennifer (Bernie) Wenzel, Erin (Chad) Bender, Nicole Bushman and Nathan Bushman. She is further survived by her great nieces & great nephews-Kylah, Benno, Kressa, Ava and Teddy Wenzel, Halle and Laney Bender, Rayna and Navaya Ostrander and Robbie and Maeleah Bushman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie & Theodore Huth, her sister, Jackie Bushman, her brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Marian Huth and a brother, Robert Huth, in infancy.
If you had the great honor of knowing the Huth family, you know how special they were. We feel blessed to be a part of their legacy. We take great comfort in knowing the Theodore & Elsie Huth family is now complete in Heaven.
