Obituary for Eilene Weber

Eilene M. Weber, 93, of Marshfield, WI passed away on August 2nd, 2025.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at Corpus Christi Church in Bakerville with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Father Nathan and Deacon Ray will officiate. The service will be streamed at www.facebook.com/rembsfuneralhomes. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Eilene was born on November 16, 1931 in Loyal, WI.  At 6 years old her family moved to a farm in Bakerville, WI.  At 14 she became a live-in nanny for a family in Marshfield.  After obtaining her driver’s license she started working at Weinbrenner shoes until the time of her marriage to Peter Weber on October 25, 1950.  They farmed together in the Town of Lincoln until his passing in October 2000, just short of 50 years together. She also worked seasonally at Figi’s and Central WI State Fair entry office with her sister Val Hanson.

Eilene was a member of Corpus Christi Church where she helped with PCCW activities for many years of her life. Prayer was very important to her well-being, and she spent many hours in the adoration chapels praying for her family, stating it was the best hour of her week.

Eilene is survived by her children: John R Weber & his children; Shannon (Kyle Lephart) Weber & Staci (Frederick Hanson) Weber, Frank (Cindy) Weber & their children: Brad (Carmen) Weber, Derek (Whitknee) Weber, Scott (Jessica) Weber, Cody (Verity) Weber, Brittany (Austin) Pernsteiner. Janet (Ken) Bell & their children: Josh (Lacey) Bell & Nick Bell. Virjean Weber & her children: Cole (Stacey Crowell) Tysver, Dustin (Tina) Tysver, Amber (Josh) Goss, Jonah (Sarah) Tysver, Dalton (Katie) Tysver, Mason (Jordan Faith) Tysver, Dawson (Jen Chatterton) Tysver, Autumn (Dylan Urban-fiancée) Tysver, Austin Tysver.  Joan (Alan) Greunke & their children: Kyle (Allyson) Greunke, Jordyne (Austin Flick) Greunke & Brett Greunke.  As well as 23 great grandchildren.   She is further survived by her sister-in-law Joyce Bauer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter P. Weber. Parents Edwin & Clara Bauer. Brothers & sisters and in-laws: Albert & Alice Bauer, Val & Don Hanson, Gerald & Nancy Bauer, Donald Bauer, Eugene & Ann Weber, Betty & Jerome Hoffman, Sister Lorraine Weber S.S.D.N., & Joseph & Bernadine Weber
