Donald Landwehr, 79, Marshfield, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his home.
Don was born on May 18, 1946 in Town of Eau Pleine, Marathon County to Martin and Minnie (Schallock) Landwehr. After graduating from Stratford High School, Don proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police Officer in Saigon, Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. His duties included motor patrol, walking patrol, and guard duty at U.S. installations. He completed his training as a military police officer at Fort Gordon, Georgia and Fort Lewis, Washington. He received an honorable discharge and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal in 1967.
Don was united in marriage to June Oertel on November 2, 1968 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in March Rapids.
He worked as a service technician for various home manufacturers across Wisconsin, where he specialized in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing for mobile and modular homes.
