MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – In celebration of Historic Preservation Month, the North Wood County Historical Society will host guided cemetery tours on Friday, May 23, at Hillside Cemetery, located on N. St. Joseph Avenue in Marshfield.
The tours will run in two sessions, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. and 12:00–1:30 p.m., offering community members a chance to learn more about Marshfield’s rich local history and meet some of the city’s most influential past residents—through engaging storytelling led by society members.
The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. Comfortable footwear is recommended, as the tour involves walking through cemetery grounds.
