MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The North Wood County Historical Society invites the public to its 46th Annual Pie & Ice Cream Social, a cherished community tradition taking place on Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Upham House, located at 212 W 3rd Street in Marshfield.
This family-friendly event promises an afternoon filled with sweet treats, live entertainment, and engaging activities for all ages. Guests will enjoy a wide variety of homemade pies paired with rich, creamy ice cream generously provided by Hub City Ice Cream Company.
Local musician Will Elmhorst will provide live music throughout the day, adding to the festive atmosphere. In addition to delicious refreshments, the social will feature raffle baskets, a silent auction, and a variety of kid’s games, making it the perfect weekend outing for families and community members alike.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a special featured exhibit inside the Upham House titled, “Timeless Treasures: A Journey Through American Clocks.” The exhibit offers an engaging look at the evolution of timekeeping in America, showcasing historical pieces from the society’s collection.
The event is a major fundraiser for the North Wood County Historical Society and helps support its mission to preserve and promote the region’s rich heritage.
