Neillsville/Granton Softball Falls to Eleva-Strum, Squeezes Past Loyal/Greenwood
On Monday April 21, we traveled to Eleva-Strum. We ended up with a 3-1 loss, but fought hard until the end. Emerson Ormond led us with 2 hits in four at bats. She also stole 4 bases. Sydney Subke and Katie Rose each had 1 hit. We scored in the 3rd inning on an error.
On Tuesday April 22, we had a conference win against Loyal-Greenwood score 12-11. This game was originally scheduled to play in Loyal, but due to the rain that morning, it was moved to Neillsville. We totaled 15 hits in the game. Keltie Schoen and Sydney Subke had 3 hits. Emerson Ormond had 2 hits. Riley Hemp, Katie Rose, Maddie Shaw, Shylah Walk and Marie Hagmann with 1 hit. Klarissa Canfield and Emerson Ormond drove in 2 runs. Keltie Schoen, Sydney Subke, and Riley Hemp each stole multiple bases. We totaled 12 stolen bases. This was a very intense game!
Our next game is a conference match up on April 29 at home against Colby-Abby at 5:00. This will also be our senior recognition night.
