The Marshfield Tiger Volleyball Team swept Wisconsin Rapids 25-12 25-18 25-16 in Wisconsin Valley Conference play.
Marshfield was led by Della Smith with 10 kills, 4 aces, and 10 digs. Natalie Delany had 16 assists and 6 aces. Abby Cera added 7 kills and 2 blocks, and Lily Adler added 6 kills and 2 blocks.
“It was nice to get back on the winning track after our loss to Mosinee on Tuesday,” said Marshfield Tiger Head Coach Joshua Knecht. “Our serving tonight was very strong, keeping Wisconsin Rapids out of system attacking or giving us freeballs allowing our offense to capitalize.”
Marshfield next heads to Kettle Moraine for a tournament this weekend.
