Marshfield scores 4 in the top of the 8th to get a 4-0 win over Eau Claire North in a pitching duel.
Marshfield would get the first run of the game when Molly Fox led off the top of the 8th with a home run.
After a couple of singles, Kamyrn Pearce tripled to drive in two more runs. Then an RBI ground out from Lillian Griesback would make it 4-0.
Eau Claire North would get a baserunner in the bottom of the 8th on a walk, one of only 2 given up by the Tigers, but the next batter would line into a double play, ending the threat.
Angela Barnhardt would get the start for the Tigers, going 5 innings, giving up just 1 hit, 1 walk, while striking out three. Fox would go the final 3 innings, giving up just a walk and striking out 7.
The Tigers next host DC Everest on Tuesday.
