The Marawood South Baseball and Softball Races are going to come down to the final day.
In Softball, Assumption and Auburndale sit tied atop the conference at 8-1. After Auburndale beat Edgar 5-1, and Assumption beat Stratford 2-0.
The conference race comes down to Thursday’s games; if Auburndale (@Edgar) and Assumption (vs Stratford) win, they get a share of the conference title. If only one wins, they win the conference outright, and if both lose, they would still get a share.
In Baseball, Edgar and Marathon have clinched at least a share of the conference title. Auburndale still has a shot. Marathon has completed their conference schedule at 7-3 with a doubleheader sweep of Newman Catholic. Edgar currently sits at 7-2, and clinched their share with a 7-0 win over Auburndale. Auburndale sits at 6-3.
Edgar and Auburndale still play on Thursday. If Edgar wins, they win the conference outright; if Auburndale wins, then Edgar, Marathon, and Auburndale all share the conference title.
