MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Police Department has shared the following reports, summarized here. For more information on these, please contact the department.

June 3 – A woman called stating her and her boyfriend, a 41-year-old Marshfield male were in a verbal argument and he broke the door handle off of her car. Upon arrival the male had left the residence. During investigation it was learned that a domestic incident took place. While speaking with the woman, the male returned home and was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property domestic related. He was transported to the Wood County jail and a probation hold was also placed. Charges are being requested through the Wood County DA.

Complainant called in a verbal disturbance taking place between 37 year-old Vesper female and a 35 year-old Marshfield male. While investigating the disturbance the female was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. She was resistive during the arrest procedure. She was later found to also be in possession of the and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the Wood County Jail. A requested for charges on the female will be sent the Wood County D.A.’s office for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC Subsequent Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, Bail Jumping- Misdemeanor.

June 5 – A man reported his ex-girlfriend, a 26 year-old Marshfield female, entered his residence without permission. He was able to provide video evidence of the incident. A charge of criminal trespassing to dwelling will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office.

A man reported being scammed by unknown individuals through Facebook for a fictitious retail property in Marshfield, WI. He reported purchasing $1695.00 in Apple gift cards and turning the card numbers over to the unknown individuals.

June 6 – A woman called stating she paid approximately $1300 to a Fedex scam. She would give them the number on the back of the cards she purchased over the last month and is out the money. She was advised to block their numbers and self-report on IC3.com. She was given advice to avoid future scams.

Caller reported a disturbance which occurred at an address on W 3rd Street. Contact was made with the involved parties. Charges will be requested through the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

June 7 – A traffic stop was conducted on N Central Ave. During the stop, K9 Rika alerted to the presence of a controlled substance emitting from the vehicle. A 58-year-old Marshfield female was taken into custody after locating 2.5 grams of methamphetamine, THC and drug paraphernalia. The female was transported to Marathon County Jail. Charges are being requested through the Marathon County DA for possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Canadian National Railroad Police reported a train arm that was struck by a vehicle and damaged. The striking vehicle fled the scene. Photos were taken. Investigation ongoing.

June 8 – Complainant reported that a domestic issue was occurring at an address on N Walnut. Officers arrived on scene and ultimately a 20 year-old Marshfield male was arrested. The male was transported to the Wood County Jail. Charges will be requested for Strangulation/Suffocation, Battery Domestic Abuse, and Disorderly Conduct Domestic Abuse.
