WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (OnFocus) – A Wisconsin Rapids family is facing unimaginable loss after a devastating house fire earlier this month left them without a home or belongings. The fire displaced the homeowner, her granddaughter, and her widowed daughter-in-law, who are now working to rebuild their lives from the ground up.
In response, the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department is calling on the community to come together and help. A fundraising effort has been launched to support the family, with donations being accepted through Venmo. Contributions can be made directly at Brenda-Roberts-295 on Venmo.
The police department expressed gratitude for the generosity and compassion already being shown, noting that even small contributions can make a significant difference in helping the family recover.
“Every contribution, big or small, will help this family rebuild and get back on their feet,” the department shared in a public message. “Thank you for showing the strength of our community during this difficult time.”
